As for the pix when you upload don't move them by dragging it loses the href tag thus it won't enlarge! Copy and paste them in the html section and they keep the href and will still enlarge. Me smart :0(

If as you say all the html looks just the same the only thing i can think on is are you changing the size of the pic in anyway that could stop it enlarging. If the code governing the size is to big the page/browser? has trouble reading it. That was the problem with my audio the height was to big. But this is all just a stab in the dark on my part I'm probably talking crap.

Once you have uploaded the pic it does load at the top and if you move the pic by clicking and dragging especially dragging it over some text that you have typed in it will no longer enlarge but with beta the html code still looks the same it does not change. On old blogger the code changed. That's why the code still looks the same even although it will no longer enlarge.
The solution is the same in old and new blogger. If you need to move the pic somewhere on the post click on to the html tab at the top and move the pic by copying and pasting all the html code for the pic and it will still enlarge. Me smart I hope.

To me, Beta offers a couple nice features...labels, drag-and-drop content ordering...um, I think that's it :) In the end, I got sick of having login troubles with Beta and Typepad has some more features that I was interested in so we moved on over.
As for your pictures, the problem is that the target image itself is 320x240 ...I suspect this happened when you uploaded it to Blogger the first time, not sure if you've had this problem in the past.
To solve it, I would suggest hosting your larger image somewhere for free, either your www2 folder or a site like photobucket which is what I use. Then point the link to that file and you should be set!
