Well we've been open for a while now & already had our first Art Show. It was a great success & I can't wait to have more! We've got more cleaning up in the back half of the bottom floor that we should be finished with soon & then we can start on the top floor, again. Our goal is to remodel the small bathroom that is already upstairs, so that we can go ahead and move in! So in about 6 months, we should be living Downtown!!

2nd Annual Daniel-Rhea Pumpkin Carving

Tonight we had the 2nd Annual pumpkin carving for the Daniel & Rhea family. We started last year when Larr & Christi wanted to carve pumpkins and we all had such a great time we decided to do it again this year. This year Conor & Brendan wanted to join in the fun, and I think they had a good time. We all came out with really good pumpkins again this year!

Brendan gets just a little bit of help from Uncle Joe, while Conor works hard carving out his ghost.

Larr, Christi and Joe get to work on their pumpkins.

Larr's wolf, Christi’s winkin' devil and Brendan's Bat sitting on a Pumpkin

Joe's reaper, My witch (with a face coming out of her cauldron) and Conor's Ghost & Bats

  • Truly excellent stuff they look great! I remember you doing this last year. It looks like you have the whole of the best artists in the USA all round at your place.

We don't do the pumpkin thing over here although having said that it is starting to happen now. I even thought of having a go at it myself this year! But then I saw all your classy carvings, so I'm not going to embarrass myself with what would undoubtedly a rather poor effort.

Over here it was a wee turnip that we Scots used to carve not quite the same thing :-(
