Well we've been open for a while now & already had our first Art Show. It was a great success & I can't wait to have more! We've got more cleaning up in the back half of the bottom floor that we should be finished with soon & then we can start on the top floor, again. Our goal is to remodel the small bathroom that is already upstairs, so that we can go ahead and move in! So in about 6 months, we should be living Downtown!!

Paris' Has Talent

We've had Duane Allen (the Oak Ridge Boys) Raymond Berry (Football) Samuel Maxey (Confederate General) Gene Stallings (Dallas Football Coach) Vanilla Ice (Singer) Denver Pyle had a home here....Charles Taylor (Treasure Hunters) and now we've got Cas Haley! Cas went to North Lamar here in Paris and was in a few bands through out high school (including one with Brian...I think they were Staind). We were all shocked and blown away (as I'm sure the rest of America was) at Cas' performance! I personally had never heard Sting's version of the song put after downloading and listening to it...hands down Cas' was better!!

  • I didn't bother finding the other version... Cas's was good enough for me. Hope he makes it!!!

  • I'm pullin' for Cas also!! Don't forget Dave Philley. He had an 18 year Major League Baseball career. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dave_Philley
He once had a fan throw and hit him with a bottle. He climbed up into the stands and beat the crap out of the guy!!!

  • I had seen some reader boards on businesses around town with messages about him, but didn't know anything about him - that was awesome!!

Oh, and since both of my kids go to the University of Alabama, we think of Gene Stallings as the most favorite head coach there except for Bear Bryant!

  • Well, you missed another famous singer, country. He does a very good show, but I left because it was so loud? Does anyone know his name? I am drawing a blank.
Cas does not do my music, but I am rooting for him anyway. Go Cas!!!
